Markus Huber
Markus Huber started studying music in his childhood as an soloist in the famous “Tölzer Knabenchor”. He met famous conductors like Karajan, Ozawa, Harnoncourt and Levine. He continued his studies in the disciplines orchestra conducting, singing, piano and chorus directoring in Munich and Vienna with Leopold Hager and Bernhard Klee. After engagements on Operahouses in Detmold, Chemnitz and Eisenach as a conductor and chorus director he is since 2003 engaged in Leipzig as the chief conductor of the “Westsächsischen Sinfonieorchesters Leipzig“.
Markus Huber is also principal conductor of the Bulgarian Chamber Orchestra and guest of many different orchestras for example the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Utah Symphony Radio Symphony Orchestra Sofia and international chorus. In 2005 he will conduct in USA, Turkey, Taiwan, Japan, Bulgaria and also in Germany. He recorded 2004 works from Cimarosa with the Bulgarian National Choir.
